Pre-natal & Post-Partum YOGA Classes
NEW : This style of yoga welcomes women at all stages of pregnancy and all levels of yoga experience. Learn practical yoga,
breathing and relaxation techniques to assist you during your pregnancy, labour and the early post-partum period. Classes
will allow time to ask questions and review topics such as creating a birth plan, breastfeeding and comfort measures in labour.

LABOUR Support Techniques Workshop

This fun, interactive workshop is taught by a labour doula. Learn tried and true techniques for the most comfortable, natural birth possible.
Couples will leave with a “comfort” plan and techniques to practice as they prepare for their big day! .

Counselling Support
I remember the day I broke down. Baby Rachel was 6 weeks old and she would not stop
crying. Luckily for me, I had people I could call on. After a good cry (and I mean
a good, long cry), lots of hugs and a warm cup of tea, I was able to be release
some of the intense pressure I was unknowingly putting on myself. And guess what…looked
down at Rachel and she had stopped crying. I was able to see how utterly beautiful
she was. Thank goodness for everyday miracles! Since that time, I have an almost
irresistible urge to provide the same
level of kindness and support that I received
that day and for many months after that. Many women experience feelings of elation
and joy, yet many of us also experience overwhelm, disappointment, fear and sadness
- often all within the same hour! In my counselling practice, I do not focus on giving
advice on how you should mother your baby. I provide a relaxed, warm and open space
for clients to explore some of the more common emotions associated with pregnancy,
birth and early mothering. In this space, clients can become free of expectations
to be perfect, thus allowing themselves to truly blossom and enjoy the experience
of being with their babies.

Pre-natal Support

of anxiety about the birth.
- Welcome your baby with an open heart by clearing emotions that are troubling you.
Feel calmer and more confident as a new parent.
- Create a practical game plan for how you and your partner will be supported during
the crucial first weeks of your baby’s life.
- Learn to love your growing and changing body by addressing body-image issues.
- Create closeness with your partner.
Post-Partum Support
assisting you to:
- Talk freely about the labour and delivery and any lingering emotions
- Feel acceptance in the face of challenging emotions such as anxiety, frustration
and sadness
- Learn how to relax and trust in your abilities as a new mother
- Enjoy your baby and deepen your bond together
- Assist in dealing with a colicky baby
- Bond with Baby through yoga, breath and movement
